YEAR 9 LETTERS

  • I am writing to inform you of the upcoming assessment period for Year 9, which runs from Monday 12 January 2026 to Friday 23 January 2026.

Year 9 students have successfully completed the first term of their new GCSE courses and we are eager to monitor the progress your daughter is making. At Year 9 Parents’ Evening in November 2025, staff were able to provide feedback on how well students had settled into Year 9 and their GCSEs.

This first assessment fortnight is another valuable opportunity for Year 9 students to consolidate their learning and for staff to provide feedback on the progress they have made and highlight areas for further development.
