GCSE Results 2024

Huge congratulations to Tolworth Girls’ School students who have achieved another year of record-breaking GCSE results! We enjoyed celebrating with our Year 11s this morning and it was heart-warming to see so many happy faces.

 Results this year are THE BEST in the school's history - 84% of students achieved grade 4s in English and Maths and 70% achieved grade 5s in both subjects. We are a non-selective, inclusive school and we are so proud of what our students have achieved. Our students really do AIM HIGH - 40% of all grades were 7 or above. 

We pride ourselves on our curriculum which has a strong academic core.  In addition to this, it also encourages students to develop their creativity and gives them the opportunity to apply their skills and knowledge to real-life situations in vocational subjects. Achievement across all areas is very strong, for example: more than 75% of Art students got a grade 7 or above; almost 100% of students achieved at least a grade 4 in French and Spanish; 60% of students studying Creative iMedia achieved Distinctions. 

Congratulations to the students and staff at our school who have worked tirelessly to attain such impressive results and thank you to the parents and carers who have worked in such close partnership with us throughout the years.  We are incredibly proud of our students’ resilience, work ethic and achievements and are looking forward to welcoming the majority of Year 11 into the Sixth Form in September.
