One of the standout strengths of Tolworth Sixth Form is the sense of community it fosters. We're proud that over 85% of TGS students opt to continue their post-16 studies with us, while we also welcome new students, enriching our Sixth Form family. We prioritize the swift integration of every student, organizing team-building exercises and social events throughout the academic year to nurture a strong sense of belonging.
Our students readily take on significant roles within the school community. At the culmination of Year 12, students can aspire to become School Officials, holding positions like Head Boy, Head Girl, or Prefects, among others. Additionally, they actively engage with younger peers, organizing sports activities, supporting lower school lessons, and serving as peer mentors, fostering a culture of leadership and responsibility.
Beyond academics, our emphasis on holistic development is evident. We offer a plethora of enrichment opportunities, enriching their extracurricular experiences and bolstering their university or career prospects. Our support system extends comprehensively, guiding students toward their chosen progression, whether it's university, employment, or apprenticeships. Engaging in roles such as prefects, mentors, and active contributors to the community, students gain practical exposure and invaluable life skills.
