WSCD - Flamenco Dance & Music workshop

This half-term for Whole School Curriculum Day, Year 7 got to participate in a Flamenco Dance and Music Workshop where they learnt some key moves to accompany the wonderful flamenco song ‘Verde Que Te Quiero Verde’. Students then had the chance to reflect on celebrations and customs across different cultures, before designing their own fabulous flamenco dresses. One of our students, Melek , said “I really enjoyed the workshop! It made me feel I could learn about and participate in another culture.”
