Twenty-five Year 12 and Year 13 Biology students visited the Dominion Theatre for the Biology Live! event on Friday 18 November 2022.

"It was fascinating to hear some of the latest research collide with our A-level curriculum. In particular, learning about the development of agriculture - the theory that it all began by accident - was intriguing, and all the speakers were engaging. From the genetics of royal families to the UK's COVID-19 response, I personally learnt so much from this experience and it has only encouraged me to look deeper into my Biology curriculum. As Professor Robert Winston said about Biology, something that particularly stuck with me, "Be prepared to be a bit bored, There will be some parts that are very interesting but the whole understanding is very important!"
