School Of Rock

On Thursday 24 and Friday 25 November 2022, a number of students took part in School of Rock with Southborough High School after 8 months of planning and rehearsing. Student involvement ranged from performers to costume designers, musicians to stage crew and ushers. Approximately 550 tickets were sold across the two nights with a sell-out performance Friday evening. The cast also performed to a local primary school on Thursday afternoon who were keen to vocalise their support, especially during the final 'Battle of the Bands' scene! The students conduced their roles with professionalism, striving to achieve the best performance for themselves and their castmates. It was especially rewarding to see the pure enjoyment of the cast as they came offstage each night, as well as the friendships and memories they have made over the course of the process. We are exceptionally proud of everyone involved and are very excited to have theatre return to our community. Watch this space for further performance opportunities!
