WSCD - Year 9

Did you know the first people to live on Mars have already been born?

There are many organisations throughout the world working hard to plan a Mars colonisation. But there is a lot of work to be done to make this a reality. Maybe by the time humans first set foot on Mars, you will be among them!

During Year 9 Whole School Curriculum Day on Friday 18 November, we were fortunate enough to welcome Colin Stuart, an award-winning astronomy author and speaker who has talked to half a million people about the universe. In recognition of his work to popularise astronomy, the asteroid (15347) Colinstuart is named after him.
